headrest
So the back center seat head rest in my 2018 x5d does not move up or down.
The dealer told me the 2018's on the lot also do not move. I do not believe that since there is a button to move it. Am I wrong? |

On mine you really have to pull hard to get it to go up and down. Harder than you think and harder than it should be.

After my ordeal in the thread that's mentioned above, I used the WD40 that's silicone based with a light layer on the head rest shafts and it moves fairly easy.
Remember, the button on the middle headrest works opposite of the left and right ones. |

On the flip side, I had an X1 loaner the other day and whoever designed those rear seat headrests should be fired. The left and right ones are very low provide (like the X5's center) but the middle one is gigantic, it literally blocks the entire middle view using the review mirror to look in the back. The rear window is small enough and then to have this giant headrest in the way .... stupid.
