Hey all, This is a 2016 build I would like and what does everyone think I should pay?

Ali,

For the car below:

BASE MSRP$70,700
M Sport$3,900
Mineral White Metallic
Black Dakota Leather
Fineline Oak Wood Trim
Cold Weather Package $550
Executive Package $3,200
Lighting Package $1,900
20" M Light alloy Double Spoke wheels style 469M-with performance run-flat tires $950
3rd row seat + rear axle air suspension $1,700
Front ventilated seats $500
Total MSRP as Built $84,395

I have looked far and wide and cannot find any 15 or 16 50i with 3rd row and the minimum of exec, m sport, lighting, cold weather. I live in NY/NJ/CT area.

I want to trade in my 2015 X5 35d with M sport, prem, driv assist, lighting, cold, hk sound, carbon black on black with 15k miles.

Thanks Anup and jzmundy. Seems that you were able to secure the loyalty incentive on a factory order. Looking to order myself soon. ?

From two dealers I got the info that loyalty incentive would not be available since it is not lockable until delivery, unlike the option credit. Well, nothing will beat having numerous dealers compete. That should get the best deal, no matter what they told me so far.

Hope I can use the USAA certificate together with the fleet discount I have available through my employer.

Yes, you cant use loyalty bonus until your car is in. But it should not matter. Just negotiate the price... Put 500-2000 down and the dealer will replace an existing order in the queue... He just wont mark the order as sold. That might delay the build by max few days... If at all... That's it

BMW Loyalty Credit

FWIW - here is the scoop right from the dealer's playbook that my CA emailed last week. Not sure if terms are negotiable/flexible re: delivery date deadline.

Several Atlanta dealers said they could not extend loyalty credit on a year end factory order with delivery in Jan/Feb - only can do the option credit. Obviously this is a sweetener to help clear year end lot inventory. Some dealers might be able to work out something with BMWNA?

What is the option credit amount and loyalty credit amount? I can't find any info on bmwusa website for the X5...

And you are saying your dealer was able to lock this in on an order that won't be delivered until the end of January or early February?

Yeah that is what I was referring to. Are you sure your dealer isn't just adjusting the price down to reflect the $1,500 credit? Or is it actually locked in from BMWNA

in early December, I read about the Happier Holidays program on bmwusa, which described a $1,500 option credit on X5 purchase (not delivery) by year end. this prompted my inquiry to several local dealers about a X5 new purchase. all of them confirmed that the option credit would apply to factory order before year end.

the selling price I worked out with the CA started from an internet published dealer invoice, and we included the $1,500 loyalty credit in getting to a final number. since i'm no lawyer, i can't say what the dealer or BMWNA actually does or doesn't do?

it's similar to the notion of the notorious documentation fee or dealer prep fee. I was quoted three different fees from Atlanta dealers ranging from $500 to $700. i politely told all of them that I don't care how they want to label the various components of the price agreement breakdown. i'm only concerned with the bottom line. if it's not a good deal, i walk to the next dealer. if none of them want to sharpen their pencil enough, I stick with my most excellent '06 330i for another few years.

(BTW, they also gave me a fair trade-in price on my E90, after we reached a selling price on the X.)

End of the day, I was satisfied.

Wow, awesome. Does that discount include the $3k of incentives available (1,500 loyalty, 1,500 option credit)?

Just helped my father on this deal earlier tonight... the F15 is an amazing vehicle... totally different beast compared to my F32. Needless to say he's totally enamored with this purchase, coming from a 2009 Honda Odyssey hahaha. Right now is totally the time to purchase a vehicle with all the incentives out there.... many deals to be had. Anyways, here it is... let me know what you guys think.

2016 Xdrive35i: Alpine White/Black Dakota Leather
- M sport package w/ 20's
- Driver's Assistance Package
- Premium Package
- Surround View Camera
- Harmon Kardon
MSRP: $68,170
Discount: 15.8% or $10,750 (9250 off MSRP including incentive, 1500 loyalty cash that goes toward downpayment)
Adjusted Price: $57,420
Out of the Door: $64,800

How did I do?

And this was for a 2016 X5 that was on the dealer's lot, right?
Good deal!

Getting first responses back from dealers today showing on invoice or $500 over invoice without any incentives applied yet. Should get slightly better tomorrow. Hope one of the dealers will try and apply the loyalty credit amount although it is a factory order, estimated delivery in February.

Best I could do?

MSRP $88,595 on fairly loaded 35d to be ordered. Got to $81,200 which includes the $1500 loyalty credit.

Talked to 4 dealers in New England. Can't seem to do better- not really convinced that's the best they can do but it's what I've found.

Purchased through Military Sales in Korea (Kolon Motors outside Yongsan). They had two US-spec cars already in port, one BSM and one Mineral White. End of year plus sitting in port, so they were giving huge discounts to move them.

2016 xDrive35i: Mineral White Metallic/Black Dakota Leather
- Surround View
- Rear View Camera
- Cold Weather Package
MSRP: $61,695
Adjusted Price: $52,800 (14.5% discount)

Will add the running boards and looking for stye 451 20" wheels in the future. No tax/registration/title fees so the adjusted price is out-the-door.
