Star marked 22" tires / Warranty?

Is it possible to find star marked 295/30/22 and 335/25/22 tires?

What happens with warranty if I don't drive star marked tires? What is your experience with your dealer?

Thanks

Nothing! AND if your dealer tells you otherwise, find a new dealer because that's ridiculous. You do not need STAR marked tires to have warranty!

Star marked tires are BMW approved tires.

I believe they are any manufacturer's approved tires

So even the Michelin may make a 275/40/20, they make one with the star for OEM spec and one without the star (for non-oem spec)

Most likely a simple money grab as the dealer can charge more for the ones with the star.

I agree. It's just to make more money and glue the customers to them!

BMW most likely only offers "star" tires for wheels sizes they offer. There are no OEM BMW 22" wheels at the moment

Garage List
It does nothing for warranty. Just buy whatever you want.
