Can Key fob be coded?

Wonder if the key fobs for my 2015 X-5 can be coded so that a double-click of the roundel will not deactivate the motion and tilt alarms? Have gotten in the habit of clicking my fobs twice to get a horn blip, and don't like two clicks of the roundel turning off half the alarm system. Can the service shop do it, and if so, what do they need?
Thanks!

I suspect that the coding would happen in the car rather than the key. You should post this in the coding thread!

well the car can be coded so holding the lock/unlock buttons on the key would open/close the windows, so it should be doable, but finding which code for which is the hard part.

I not quite sure why you are clicking it twice? You get acoustical lock confirmation chirp with one click.

With the second click I believe it disables the motion sensor in the cabin. I heard nick Murray talk briefly about it in one of his videos. Where he clicks twice to disable that sensor while his dog is still in the car while he runs into the store real quick or something

OP is clicking it twice out of habit and perhaps peace of mind... Easy fix.. just click it once make this your new habit.

You have to hold the button on the 2nd click for a few seconds...you'll know its disabled when the red light on your rear view mirror illuminate. I tried the double click you're stating, it does not disable the motion/tilt. The second click illuminates the door handles and interior lighting.
