I just picked one up Thursday with a 72k MSRP. Feel like we got a decent payment of 780 with 1200ish drive off. I'm in OREGON with no sales tax.

Are there certain creature comforts you're used to from BMW? Only reason I ask is that the X5 you have referenced in your link is quite bare-bones. It literally pretty much only has the M Sport package.

Just ordered a '16 X5 xDrive35i 2 weeks ago. There were no incentives available in June on the car, but the residual was decent @ 59% (12k/36). MSRP was $76k and we got the car at a 7% discount. Monthly comes to $850 (before 3% NC sales tax). Includes 7 MSDs and $1700 due at signing (1st month, $599 doc fee, ttl, excluding MSDs.) I'm pretty happy with the deal and extremely happy with the CA and sales manager at my local dealership. Probably could have negotiated another 500-1000$ off the price if I really pushed them hard, but I am hoping to build up a good long-term relationship with my CA.

thanks for the replies guys.

I actually really like the way that X5 looks. it seems to me the M package and the wheels really make it look good. i'm not fussy about interior gadgetry, it looks nice and has the thin steering wheel, nav i believe. I'm going to browse some more and see if i can find a fully loaded one to see what it looks like. I dont need drivers assist etc.. do these trucks have the option to get black wheels?

this is priced at 62, figure i can maybe get them down to 58? lease it for 6xx? doable?

Low 600s might be tough for $62k MSRP unless the car has been sitting on the lot. But, I think you should be able to sneak in under $700.

I believe the MY17 cars have the option for the 20" M Sport wheels in black. I don't think black wheels were available on the MY16 cars.

Low 600's is definitely doable. Assuming you put MSDs down. Mine was 69k MSRP. I got it for just under 62k custom ordered. That one being bare bones should be able to be had for under 60.

also, got this quote from a dealer. this one has a ton of options. roof rails, paint, wheels etc.. MSRP was 66,670. Cap at 60,990

0 down, my payment would be about 730monthly. 1.38MF 60% residual

based on those numbers, I see your payment should be around $722, but that's pretty close, so I'm probably missing something

$730 backs into a MF of about .00146.
