Lightbulb Capristo Exhaust - Wow

Hello everyone!
I have been thinking of changing my exhaust system as I want a note with more personality. At the beginning I was looking at the Eisenmann Race, but the reviews on the cabin drone, put me off. So I landed on the possibility of purchasing an Akra up until well today when I found this previously unknown possibility... a Capristo Exhaust.

I have not seen this brand mentioned on this side of the forums, yet the videos of the sound are just plain awesome.

Does anyone have any experience with this system/brand? Do you know if it drones?

Here are the links:

Here is a BMW 650i that sounds like an AMG:

I have it on my e92m2. The only thing I didn't like was the pipes not following the exact path as OE. I attached a before and after pic. I haven't had a chance to install the valve control module and hardware, so it's wide open now and it's too loud to enjoy the car without pissing off other people or attracting attention from the police My setup isn't typical, though...it's a stroker 4.4L with bigger cams and I have the BimmerWorld tri-Y header and mid-pipe with high flow cats installed...it's almost wide open from engine to tail pipe.

Thank you for the pics! Having the valves open, have you experienced drone in eco/s/s+?
And wow it sounds amazing!!

The car previously had the stock S65 w/ Eisenmann race exhaust and that droned. This doesn't drone, but it's just louder. I have yet to hear it with the flaps closed.

Yeah definitely, Eisenman is a drone machine. One question, is it me or the CES-3 valve control unit looks rather complicated to instal?

It says that it will transmit a radio signal that will show the menus to configure the unit, though idk if the F85/F86 radios is RDS-enabled, not where to ser RDS Function to variable as it asks in the Capristo manual.

Is it worth nearly an extra $4k to get rid of drone though?

I have an Eisenmann Pro and yeah the drone can be annoying... but I shift out of it as a solution. And I unplugged the ASD.

Capristo sounded good when the valves were open. Otherwise the V8 sounded like it had its junk cut off.

Hi,
I was also looking around for quite a while and finally pulled the trigger on the Capristo with carbon fibre tips.
All I can say Is a Wooow....
Been installed for over 4 months now and it's a pure Joy.
Its a bit pricey bit I lovit to bits.
Got compliments of the sound every day I go out.
There is no drone and the way the systems flows make the sound in the cabin really nice and behind the car really laud and aggressive. And the upshift bangs are so laud and sharp OMG. Even my wife drives it with the valves open with the 10mths old baby at the back.
No regrets at all for the money paid.
I definitely recommend.

Can you share some pics and a video of the sound?

I'm looking into it also, but not sure yet!

Thanks,

To be fair mine got installed by supplier and it took them a good day to complete.
Getting the wright routes for the vacuum pipes is hardest part I presume.

The Capistro looks good but if you’re paying $6k+ for an exhaust you might as well go for the Akra. It’s titanium, looks like it’s easier to install, and is better known so makes reselling a breeze.

This is good info though as I’m still on stock but have kept an eye on the exhaust market.
