F10 m5 Brake swap
Im installing f10m5 calipers and rotors on my f15 in the next few days. I need to know if i can use my oem f15 brake lines, or do I need to order f85 or f10 lines? Couldn't find any solid answers in the brembo thread.

As I remember someone posted that the f85 lines are longer so I think you’ll need them. The calipers are the same on m5 and x5m, just the brackets are needed for f85

I think E70 and F85 brake line part numbers are same. I did that for my X5M caliper upgrade. I just did a quick cross reference on ECS?

I guess im going to pull my wheel off tomorrow and see if I'll be able to use the 50i lines. I don't see why they wouldn't work. Unless they have a different fitting on them.

50i lines are about an inch short. I could have modified the brake hose bracket to make them work but i just decided to do it right and get f85 lines. Brakes work perfectly.
Trying to post a pic but this atupid forum womt let me. I constantly have issues posting pics on here and it randomly logs me out after i make 1 post. |
