Bmw X5 rear adaptive shock absorbers

Hello,

i have a X5 2014 with rear adaptive suspension (2VM Adaptive Suspension Package Comfort) and today in the shop we found that one of the rear shocks is leaking. i search the net for replacement parts. but can't find our aftermarket shocks with which i can keep the car with the air springs and self leveling. i am still waiting my BMW dealer to give me information about OEM parts. But i am in a hurry because i have to travel

Shocks have nothing to do with the air bags and self leveling. That's not what adaptive suspension is. Adaptive suspension is the change in how stiff the shocks rebound. Also there is no aftermarket option if you want to retain the adaptive shock. But you also need to replace with oem or do all 4 with aftermarket.

Hi. I know that the air bag is separate from the shock. I saw that on the shock there is a valve with a rubber hose. I am still waiting my dealer for information about the OEM shocks and when they can be delivered. i was wondering if there are aftermarket parts for replacement. and to keep the car with the same function of the suspension

Unfortunately there is no aftermarket replacement for the EDC system.
