Dark Graphite Metallic

I don't see many swirls, but I do have a lot of scratches... though not entirely noticeable until I look closely.

I like the color, I find it fairly easy to keep clean in comparison to black but not as easy as silver or white.

Was at the top of my list until I saw one somewhat dirty at the dealer. Felt it was going to be like keeping a black car clean. I ended up with Space Gray, which I also really like.

Off topic: I don't get why a lot of you apologize for using iPhone pics. I think the quality is great; I don't expect everyone on here to be shooting with DSLR's, lol. Now, if you're posting pics from your Moto Razr, that's inexcusable.

On a side note, I was wondering... if we're able to build an Individual BMW with practically any existing color, including any color previously and currently used by BMW... couldn't we build an F15 M Sport in Dark Graphite Metallic for an up charge?

For my personal taste the Dark Graphite Metallic is a bit too dark. At the moment I have an Alpine white but will change for the Space Grey as thats the only grey paint for m-sport. All my recent cars have been black, but I'm really tired of all small scratches. I decided to go with the opposite (Alpine White), but in the Swedish winter this color is a real pain in the ass. Also, I think that the white color makes the car looks more like van (like Mercedes Vito).

My dad has a 330 m sport in Mineral Grey. I really love that color together with the black details and a black M-performance grill. That color would look really nice on a X5 with m sport. Its not doo dark and not too bright. But as this color is no option, I will go for the space grey.

I don't get it either, its not like if they used DSLR camera the photo would be magically amazing.. its not the camera but the photographer and knowing how to take better pictures.

With the right amount of $$ anything is possible. For me it wasn't worth it, plus Space grey looks nice and very forgiving when it comes to dust and scratches.

So far the color seems to be holding up quite nicely. No swirls, no weird marks form washing / waxing so far. It does look darker in the pictures though.

Space Grey is a beautiful color, but for me, it's just too light. I like the darker grey. For a lighter choice, I'd consider Mineral White, which I love, but I'd probably decide on Glacier, which I also love.
