I looked at this one too, being based in Bay area went for something more local, sounds like you got a great deal too!

Thanks man! Wish there were some incentives this month to make the deal even sweeter, but unfortunately I couldn't wait.

2015 Leftover x5xdrive35d
Hello folks,
My 1st post, and my 1st X5. Decided I wanted a diesel for the 220 mile commute versus using my Tahoe 4x4 at 17mpg on a good day. Found two lightly-optioned 35d's at the local dealer left over from 2015 model year. Liked one enough to buy it and hoping for a long-term ownership. Sticker was $64,100. Traded in my 2007 Honda Pilot AWD that was promptly sent to auction. Price of the X5 after the reduction for being last year's model and my 9 year old trade-in was $47,700, or a few thousand dollars more than what my Pilot cost me 9 years ago. The amount I started from when having the Honda appraised was a marked-down sticker of $57,700, or $6,400 off the sticker due to being a 2015. They showed another $10,000 off that $57,700 sticker as my trade in value. Ended up financing $47,700. Since this was about $10,000 under Kelley Blue Book, I felt good enough about it to buy it. Feel free to tell me how bad I did List of the light Options on the X-5: Space Gray Metallic Dakota Leather Luxury Seating Package Rear view Camera 3rd row seat & rear axle suspension This is my second BMW. My 1st was a 530 in 2002 that was leased for 3 years. Due to the miles I now drive daily, I was not interested in another lease. So far, have owned this X5 since April 30, it has about 3k perfect miles on it and gets 32mpg if left on cruise at 75mph in Comfort mode. In sport mode around town it gets 24mpg. Much better than the 14 city/17 highway that the Tahoe gets. My only complaint is that it didn't have Blind Spot Alert, which the Tahoe LTZ does have, and will make you lazy. Wonderful machine! |

BMW of Beaumont. Nobody else had any leftover X535d models to choose from unless I wanted to buy in Louisiana. Money-wise and experience at the dealership perfectly acceptable. We had a handshake deal to install Sirius XM radio to close the purchase. They gave me a 535i loaner for the half-day it took the service guys to get the receiver and connect it. Everything went perfect and the X-5 has been wonderful.

New to BMW - New xDrive 40e
This is my inaugural post/reply.
Just picked up my 2016 xDrive 40e yesterday. Sticker was $72,070 with the dealer giving me $6,261 off the MSRP and an additional $3,000 rebate. $62,809 was a price I could not refuse . Now we are headed back to the dealer this weekend because my wife wants her own white X5. |

I do not have my paperwork in front of me but I believe it was the Cap Cost Reduction that BMW allows when Leasing. I will confirm when I am back home and update you.

I stand corrected. My paperwork shows 'BMW Factory Rebate'.

Guys, I can use a little help and apologies in advance if I'm posting on the wrong thread - I was researching buying an X5 and came upon a used 2014 xDrive 35i with under 20k miles. It has all the 'packages' (M-sport, premium, driver assist, driver assist plus, lighting, cold weather, 3rd-row, 4-zone etc.). The asking on it is $51k. Any thoughts on the price? The KBB and NADA are lower, but I couldn't find anything comparable in that range so a little confused about whats going on. Appreciate any advice. thanks!

$50k? That seems a bit high since I just bought a 2016 xDrive40e in the low $60's. With this being a 2014, I would stand down. I assume this is being sold via a dealer?

Mind if I ask what 'packages/options' it had? I'm noticing that the supply dramatically drops as soon as you throw in the M-sport package along with the 20" wheels. This one has pretty much every option you can add to the 2014 x5. Still think it's overpriced?

On the BMW website at least, the supply is very limited even when I expand the search across the country. And once you throw in the m-sport package, it drops further. Total of 6 X5s across the country for models 2014-2017 with under 20,000 miles. And nothing is close to $50k. Am I searching all wrong?
