Thanks for the pics and the very helpful feedback on the Driver Assistance functions - think I will definatly get the head up display now.
Please don't think I'm being rude, but you're pictures of the Mocha leather has convinced me that its not the one for me - thank you! |

Thanks for the detailed feedback.
Is your wife or a guest allowed to excercise or drive any part of the lesson? Are you allowed to switch from one driver to other? I am going with my wife and kids but she would have to stay at cafe to take care of kids. I am planning to switch after lunch sessions if they allow. |

When my wife and I went together to pick up our M3 we did get to switch, some of the time: In the morning we did the road course and did switch during that. Of course, being in the M3, my wife never had enough room in front of us to go full out. After lunch we did the off road with the X5, and could not switch as you only went through the course once. I let my wife drive as she has never done something like that before (and she totally loved it!)
I would say, if you had kids, you would only be able to switch at the break between the road part and the off road part. |

We went through the course twice, once for me and once for my wife. It may be because both groups that afternoon were picking up X vehicles (we got the X5 and the other group was taking delivery of an X3). As I've said before, it's a great showcase of what these vehicles are capable of.

Did you pick up your X5 earlier this week? I'm pretty sure I drove the PC and saw it on my way to work one morning! Congrats

The interior is so much better than the E70's. Man, you made me think about SUV again.

Great review. I wish the msport came with running boards and I'm glad you took a pic of the spare which I got also. Taking delivery sometime next week. Wanted white again so bad but the wife opted for something different, space grey.

After reading some of the comments in the 5-series forums on how great the bass is and how accurate the highs are I want to at least hear the B&O system before I decide. I admit the upgrade price of $3700 is a bit off putting.

Congrats!
Interior is AWESOME - great design and looks very high quality. Still not sold on exterior styling though.

Hey, congratulations on your the new X5!
Although I would choose if Sparkling Brown is a color as elegant, sophisticated, unique, exclusive, class . |
