Do updated PCV hoses need occasional replacement?

Anyone know if even if you have the updated design PCV hoses if they still need to be replaced every “X” thousand miles or time-wise?

My 2016 N63TU has the updated hoses. I’m guessing they are original, not sure when BMW updated from the “ribbed” hoses that cracked. Anyway, I was replacing the o-rings on the end of the single hose that goes into the top of the valve cover. I wanted to see if the hoses were clogged up and tried to blow through it. I couldn’t. I can’t imagine the flaps inside the two valve sections are supposed to give a lot of resistance since they are supposed to vent crankcase pressure. Perhaps mine need to be replaced?
