Apparently your insider did not set up the online configuration tool because the third row option was left off. Looks like 3rd row is just a dream

I noticed, sucks! I guess we'll just have to go with the MSport 50 and do little tuning with some other upgrades

I believe that they want the X5 to be more exclusive and not use comfort rear seats and 3rd row as an added weight

I don't want a MASSIVE GL, I don't want an in inspiring no horse power Audi, I WILL NEVER EVER own a shitty minivan and would never purchase a 70k truck with caddy interior.
+1. My first X5 had 3rd row seats, the nieces and nephews love riding in the back. Bad part is, you can fit luggage with the 3rd row seats up. The X7 will solve this.

The back of the new X5's are too small. It would be too cramped to have anyone besides small children sit in with a 3rd row seat

Completely missing the point. The e70 and F15 NON-M X's have the third row so there is room. Like most people have stated, they want a X5M so that they can have the magic of the ///M AND when needed cart around 6-7 adults and kids I would have the option.
