Perhaps the best example yet of how terrible most M cars look with chrome grilles. Why does BMW refuse to black out its M cars at least? I fully understand the concept of individuality and availability of aftermarket parts, and some people may like chrome, but at least on this color, especially with black wheels, the chrome grille and chrome side gills look awful.

Other than that, I want one

1) Because not everyone is a Bimmerpost member where everybody hates chrome.
2) Because it's been like that forever. Tradition is the right word?
3) Because then they can charge you for M Performance kidneys and you know you'll buy them.

Personally, I like chrome trim on darker colored cars. Creates a nice contrast, just like the ubiquitous black and white.

I think the LBB looks really nice on a light day with some sun, in dusk like these pics are taken, it comes out looking just a bit dull.
Somehow this reminds me of the old Samoa blue colour, which gave two very different impressions with different lightning.
I think both the new DG and this LBB suits the F15 just great.

I hated the X5M because it has little to no purpose. then i drove one and grinned from ear to ear when i realized i was drifting a 5500lb suv. i get it after that. this one looks great. just wish they could make the quad exhaust work and still allow it to tow for real plus have a 3rd row seat.

long beach blue looks like monte carlo blue looks like estoril blue but maybe its different in bright sunlight. still interesting and why can't we get any of those colors for no charge on an M3 of all cars.
