Does anyone know how much a new 40e charger costs?
Looks like someone swooped into our garage and stole the charger out of the socket earlier today. I've done some Googling and looked at the vehicle manual but there's nothing in regards to what the charger is actually called or how much it costs.
Has anyone had to get a new replacement charger from BMW? How much did it cost and what was the process like? I'm going to the dealer tomorrow and hope that they have some laying around in stock for me to purchase. |

Ouch. Sorry to hear that bro. Here's a quick look through eBay. Its $330 plus shipping and probably cheaper than the dealer's. Good luck!

Unfortunately, that isn't the correct charger for the vehicle.

So, for future reference for anyone who's asking my same question.
The list price for the charger is $850 but the guy gave it to me for a bit lower. After tax, it was $630. This was at a larger SoCal dealership your actual price may vary. Secure your chargers, ya'll. |
