So many thanks to r33 for the DIY instruction, even though being in the UK I ordered parts locally, I completely the job today.

Based on the stories of drama surrounding the passenger pad, I fitted this one first. Quite fiddly but not as bad as as it could be. Start to finish it took me 70 minutes so happy with that.

My biggest issue was darting in and out of the rain! Happy to help if the weather improves!!

Not sure you can get the knee pads in the BMW individual smoke grey or scotch colours to match my interior - anyone know?

I think you just need a friendly dealer to order the individual parts again - might mean finding and X6 with the same colour interior to use the VIN!

Excellent work and looks superb. I'm getting acquainted with my cabin and then plan to order in a month or too.

I had a look on realoem and the part numbers have been updated from 2017 builds with the contrast stitching so thats a nice bonus too,
