My wife knows better. Through the years I've even trained her to enter the car butt first so she can clap her shoes before getting in lol.
Working on training my daughter but that's a WIP since she's only 4yo Alan |

Dont understand why people do that. Is it some sort of trend now? I see it way too often nowadays.

I've had my X5 for almost a year and have yet to *knocks on wood* curb rash my rims. How the heck do you even do that? I can understand on low profile rims, sure, but on the rims we've got on our rides are you parking halfway up the side walk, too?

Just for the record, not all women put their feet up on the dash or curb wheels. I would never put my feet up on someone's dash and would slap someone who did it in my car.
I have also returned almost all my leases with pristine wheels. I did curb my '13 X at a gas station due to a poorly placed curb, it was all grass area but the forward end curved toward the pump and had a curb!?!?! Who the hell put that there. I was so pissed. |

Mine happened while parallel parking... naturally I would want my car to be as close to the curb as possible to avoid any side swipes from traffic on the streets. I guess I underestimated the the cameras Second time was turning a tight corner and my rear lips caught the edge of the curb I cursed up a storm and 20 minutes later, I calmed myself down.
