Yes, these do look great. I've seen HRE wheels and certainly they are among the best, but also cost ~twice as much as Vossen Btw, is that Glacier Silver Metallic paint? And is the suspension lowered?

^^^ That's Mineral White... Not sure if it was lowered, judging by the pics, I would say yes.

exactly, otherwise just keep the oem wheels you have or go for another set of oem. doesn't make sense to do anything else. putting on a set of budget replica wheels on an a high-line model is like wearing a clip-on tie with a brioni suit.

^^^ Agreed. Always pains me to see cheap, knock-off parts put on high end cars. "hey, I saw this on eBay, what do you think?" [face palm]

HRE's is like what...$10,000+?? And putting them on a BMW? Sorry and I'm sure I'll get a lot of comments for this but BMW isn't really considered a high end... at least to me..

BMW & MB are no longer aspiration vehicles. almost anyone can lease one or purchase used if they wanted to.

Did not mean to imply he did simply offering an alternative. The only BBS wheels I know of that go into the five digit range are the Magnesium Race wheels in 20" and 21". I purchased a set of 19" BBS LM for my M3 and had them broken down and customized by hand and had an awesome set of wheels. The same could probably done here with these BBS wheels.

That is a surprising comment coming from somebody who has easily invested an additional $10k in upgrades for their X5. I definitely consider an SUV that specs as high as $80k - $115k to be high-end / luxury. Of course there are even more expensive SUVs such as the G-Wagen, Bentayga, and Levante but to dismiss the X5 would be like saying that the Porsche 911 isn't a high-end / luxury sports car because McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini and others are out there.

Based on his posts he has MPPK, MPE, RC Chip, Carbon Front Splitter, Carbon Mirror Caps, Carbon Rear Lip Spoiler, Carbon Rear Diffuser, Carbon Fiber License Plate Frame, Black / Black Kidney Grilles, and associated installation labor. Pretty close to $10k in upgrades...

My comment was for a single mod such as wheels. Dropping $10k on wheels for a BMW sounds silly to me. Yes BMW's aren't your average cars but they aren't considered high end to me. I guess it really depends on where you live. Here, where I live BMW's are like Honda civics... they are everywhere and I guess I perceive them as a nice car but certainly not high end.
Let's see the following is what I paid for roughly....Mppk 950, MPE 1200, front splitter 1000, diffuser 900, rear spoiler 200, aftermarket mirror covers 200, rcu 600 $5050 total and about $500 in labor for mppk and MPE . So $5550 in total upgrades costs on several different mods and to me that's not the same as dropping $10k on very expensive and premium wheels on a X5.

Wow! That's crazy! For a second there I thought you were the Prince of Brunei. I live in a po-dunk town called Greenwich where there is a big difference between a Honda Civic and a BMW X5!

I guess you misunderstood me. What I was trying to say is that BMW's are as common as Honda civics, meaning I see many of them on an any given day.
