SI B61 30 14 - mandatory battery replacement

I was reading SI B61 30 14 and it looks like as part of regular maintenance program BMW is required to replace battery every certain period of time. Has anyone tried bringing this to a dealer and actually had battery replaced.
thanks,

mandatory battery replacement

I have had batteries replaced under warranty. The new ever two is a updated policy. Personally, I think this is a good thing.

Until the warranty runs out and you have to pay for the replacement yourself. These barriers cost a LOT! If you are leasing then disregard my comment.

Almeretto, do you mean "The new every second oil change [battery replacement] policy."?

At the second oil change on our '14 35d the SA explained the battery was now to be replaced every other oil change, and the first replacement occured at that time. On the recent fourth oil change, however, they did not replace the battery, so I contacted the SA who stated it was his understanding it was every other oil change but that my key fob didn't show the battery replacement due, so it wasn't done. He's currently researching this.

Reviewing SI B61 30 14, I note it states the battery is replaced only at the second oil change (for F15's with the N55, N57 or N63T engine).

So, if indeed there is a modification of this...what is the source?
