2017 X5 F15 Adaptive M suspension question
Planning to order this week. I certainly want the Adaptive M suspension, but I have been thinking that adding the 3rd option with Rear axle Air suspension will also include Adaptive M suspension. Perhaps not? Can someone confirm if these two are separate options? Atleast thats what I just found when configuring at BMWUSA website. I really don't care about the 3rd row and only need the Adaptive M suspension, but if the 3rd comes with the M suspension then I can look for available cars in the lot with this option and wouldn't mind going with it.

Third-row seats do not add adaptive suspension, only rear-axle air suspension. Adaptive suspension is a separate option that has adaptive dampers.
It's very unlikely that you'll find a lot car that comes with adaptive suspension unless it's an ordered car that the customer backs out of. It'd be easier to just order the car yourself.

Separate Options:
M-Adaptive is easily added to M-Sport Package. - Code 2VF - $900 Adaptive M Suspension and Rear Axle Air Suspension. If you order a 3rd Row seat it is just air suspension from what I can tell.
