When will the X6 get a facelift or complete changeover?

Hello there,

I'm considering getting a BMW X6 2017, however am afraid that it might get a face-lift at the end of this year or next year? also when do you think the car will get a complete redesign ?

I'm moving from E92 M3 to the X6 with M package, the reason i choose the X6 over the X5 is when you sit in the X6 the feeling of the sport car is still there

Thanks in advance

There will be no face lift for current X5/X6.

Next gen X5/X6 is due late 2018, so only another 2 years away.

Just get what you want now. There is always a face lift, new generation, new idrive, new dashboard, new engine coming down the line in a year or two. Is it really going to kill you to have a vehicle for a year or two after the latest facelift or latest generation comes out? If it bothers you that much, then just trade in for a new one when the time comes. You'll be chasing a never-ending carrot at the end of a stick on your hamster wheel if you are always worried about what's coming just over the horizon.
