Idrive screen fault lines showing HELP!

Hi guys, ive just picked up a 2016 plate X6 m50d in the UK which has an issue with the screen. It displays some loss of display on the right hand side of the screen. Im wondering if anybody knows a fix or what the issue is?

When im on normal idrive it goes fuzzy, when i go to reverse camera there is a considerable issue.

Thanks in advance

What do you got to loose? Otherwise buy a used one off ebay to save a few bucks.

A likely hardware failure in the display panel.

I would attempt to buy a used replacement and see if the problem disappears.

First step is to pull it out and get a good part number from it. It is entirely possible some coding or firmware updates may be required to finish.

Likely, this one...

I also have a feeling it could be a loose or fauoty cable but not sure which one. The readon i say that is because when i go over a bumpy surface the bad sections do appear good. Any help appreciated in locating which cable it could be

Ok so i got the screen out today and it says part number 65509347878 03, i have found a replacement on ebay from on f15 x5, with part number 65509347878 02. My question is does anybody know if its compatible and whats the difference between the 02 and the 03 at the end of the model number. Thanks

Also found one with 04 at the end. Would it be a straight swap?

My thought is that revisions would all be compatible.

Having said that, here is a seller in Germany with an offering for an -03 revision...
