Wheel spacers recommendation
Hey guys,
Just curious as I start my mod addiction on this new x5..id like to widen out the wheels (stance) for now Before I get..the 599m 21" WHEELS AND Pirelli TIRES...( will be soon, just not right now) Are H&R spacers recommended and what widths. I did a search but didn't seem to see anything concrete on this. Thanx!!! |

.
I have an extra unused pair of 22.5mm H&R spacers for the F15 ... was asking $168 including Shipping to USA addresses, but just tonight put them on 27% off sale so as soon as the sale activates they will be $122.64 http://www.ebay.com/itm/131561750479 . |

Wouldn't the race chip be a better and less expense choice vs. MPPK? I have a 2015 i35d |

AFAIK, no MPPK for the 35d, then RaceChip is your only best bet.

You can use the same spacer. I have sold a bunch of them without any issues. H&R said that because X5 is not a big market for them, so they didn't put the F15 on priority for testing.

Yes. Longer bolts are always required when you are running spacers.
Recdog11 - I am running 15mm H&R spacers in the rear without any issues. Fits perfect. up front you need to go at least 15mm or it won't clear the hub. I tried going with a H&R 12mm it didn't work in my case.

^^ Yes. I get my spacers from them because they have packages with extended bolts which makes it easy for me. Plus they are on the east coast so shipping takes 1-2days tops.

with longer bolts that you use instead of the stock bolts, and two are the 22.5mm DRA type, which also come with bolts, but on those you use the supplied bolts in addition to the stock bolts (see pics below) ... I had intended to use the 15 on front and 22.5 on rear, but decided to just use the 15mm on the rear ... that's why I have the 22.5mm pair available. Below is a pic of the 15mm on my 19" 467M wheels ... the bigger ones would look better, I am sure, but I am going leave them this way my eBay listing $122 including shipping .
