Not my cuppa tea, OP. I am notoriously picky with rim designs so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Up close doesn't look too bad except the deep dish part.

I get it, and I'm not offended in the slightest.

I honestly still have mixed feelings about it, because like you and Alan said, the deep dish style is sooo last decade, lol.

Most likely, I will run with these during the winter, then get a nice set of wheels next spring.

At this point, I'm just glad to not be on those stock 19 inch wheels that came with the car. The designers disgraced the X6 when they offer it as a stock option.

I find these wheels that came with my car disgraceful, lol

I like it, very tastefully done. I have to mention now that you have 22 wheels, the gap is quite obvious. A slight drop will make it just right! =)

Wheel gap kills! Not bad since you didn't have to re-up on a new set of 22's

Thanks guys. I appreciate the thumbs up.

I don't remember the wheel gap being so noticeable when I had these on my '09 X6.
I will dig up a pic of that car when I get in from work.

I noticed that when the suspension lowers on this car when in sport mode, it helps with the wheel gap... but driving around the 5 boroughs is more comfortable in comfort mode.

When I go up to the Catskill area next week, I will give her a nice run in sport mode and take a few pics. That way, you all can see the difference in wheel gap in both transmission settings, if you are planning on getting aftermarket wheels.

Anyone know of a good spot to get the TPMS sensors applied to my aftermarket wheels anywhere in the queens/BK/LI area?

I went to Mavis AND Goodyear, but both shops said they are incapable of programming the sensors for a 2016. I also went to 212 off of the Belt, but he sent me somewhere else that was very busy so I couldn't get it done today.

Thinking of trying the dealership next. Maybe I can have them install the gloss black kidney grilles at the same time...

If you know of a place that can install the sensors for me, please let me know.

IMO I don't think a gunmetal finish would look good on a 5 spoke wheel that big... I wouldn't change a thing

Thanks for the compliment!

This car gets lots of attention. I need to get the windows tinted ASAP, lol.

Still trying to find a good spot to get the TPMS sensors installed. My OCD is kicking in, everytime I notice the warning light on my instrument cluster.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The sensors themselves do not need programming. Not specific to the F15, so I may be wrong, but I've never needed to program the car to recognize sensors either as long as they were the right type/frequency.

I hear you. This is where I got confused.

On my E71, I switched aftermarket wheels twice, and never needed any programming to make them work. Simply plug and play.

These wheels in question were on my E71 and worked just fine with the TPMS, but when I had these wheels mounted onto my F16, the TPMS system malfunction warning came up. It was recommended I pick up a new set of sensors for these wheels because the old sensors won't work with the new car.

Now I have the new sensors ready to be fixed to the wheels, but the three shops I went to expressed that they would have to do so.e sort of programming to make the TPMS work the way it's intended.

AC Schnitzer or Eibach wouldn't cut it IMO.

TPMS wise, since you are going to dismount the stock to remove the TPMS and remount on the 22", unless the tire shop will give you a good deal on the labor, I would just get another set and throw it in to the 22".
Much easier and less headache when you are swapping wheel later on.
Thanks for the quick delivery on the TPMS sensors. I tried to get then installed today, but ran in the same response from 3 different shops saying that they did not have the ability to "program" the sensors for a 2016 model.

Do the sensors you sent me need to be programmed? Or are they already configured for my car, and all that needs to happen is the installation?

Sensors don't need to be programmed. After install reset in iDrive and you're good to go.

Thanks Brian. I didn't understand why the 3 shops I visited today mentioned programming. I will just tell them to put these sensors on the wheels for me, since these sensors are already compatible with my car, right out of the box.

Agree on the 19s... I have the standard 19 in. M sport wheels on my X5 and it ruins the look of the car.

Sorry, just saw your post.
No, no reprogramming needed.
You just install it, then reset the TPMS in the i-Drive.

Just excited to share that after a very smooth process with Signature Wheels, my baby will be rocking some new shoes once they arrive in a couple of weeks just in time for Spring.

Deep Dish is so '90s, but not a bad execution. If you're happy, that's all that matters.
