Eibach springs/links installed

i have been debating installing any form of lowering on the f15 because i didnt want it to ruin the ride. although the car rides at a pretty acceptable height, another 1" would make it perfect imo. i chose the euro version Eibach spring with rear links. the font lowers about 1.3" and the rear you basically adjust wherever you like with the links. ride is great! most noticeable difference was driving it away after lowering. it felt tighter in any form of turning and slightly stiffer. after a week of driving, i cant remember it driving any different. winter is ending and our roads are full of random cracks and holes, and it drives very well regardless. no bounce, no jarring rebound.

car sits at 31.15" from ground to fender on oem 20" wheels. in the pics i test fit the 22" wheels to see how they look. very happy with the results

Drop looks good, perfect for the 22s. I cant find those 599 reps anywhere, i called the place you recommend, they told me they stop making them..

Are these essentially the same as the ACS Spring for he X5M?

H&R is more aggressive but from reports it rides harder, while the ACS spring (which I believe is rebranded Eibach), rides like stock

Where did you order the eibach springs from? Did you measure the drop before and after with the same wheels to see if it was lowered by the advertised amount?

im really digging those 22s and the x5 looks great!..... but i couldnt imagine the ride on 22s after the drop(Those tires look way to thin for any pothole)
lowered with H&R spring/link and 20s with Mich. PSS. its a perfect driving setup for every occasion. the 30mm spacers take it to another level, and are the only reason the 20s work.

I only have 12.5mm rear spacers added. Could use 5mm up front but not nessacary

Baan velgen. Great price too. Drop is pretty much bang on as advertised.

They are half the cost of the overpriced ac schnitzer springs.

yes 30mm all four corners. i wanted to keep the ?geometry ratios? the same for the stance, but it might sit a tad wider then it needs to in the front....25 all around is probably best, but i believe the reason i did it was because of the DRA spacers options and sizes. i wanted stock bolt sizes and no extended lugs. i think 25 mm spacer have extended lugs only and to get DRA which bolt to the hub then you bolt the wheel on, you need to jump up to 30mm

I'm having the H&R Kit installed tomorrow (for 2VM). I also got the 5mm (front) and 15mm (rear) spacers. Will put those on in a few weeks when the 20" 451 Y spokes go back on.

That is a very cheap price. Approx $50-ish per corner... Too bad they're progressive. How many miles on your car when installed?
