Where did you get your 22" tires

Seems like 22" wheels are common on this forum so where did you get your 22" tires?

I haven't found many options on :

-Tire Rack
-Ebay
-Discount Tire Direct

If you are looking for Pirelli 335/25-22, bad news.
Pirelli stop making them.
Currently the only option available is china brand tires.

I can't recommend any China Brand.
I would rather go with non stagger setup and run spacer for the rear wheel.

Ouch. So what will everyone do if they are running staggered 22" wheels?

There are 2 Chinese brand tires for the 22" (335/25-22) rear that I've seen. Lexani and Lionhart.

Oh WTF

Pirelli just screwed all X5 owners running 22" wheels.

They have the PZERO in that size but at $600 PER TIRE.

Continental also has this size but its not sold in America. You would have to get it from a overseas vendor.

A local tireshop told me the Pirellis' were on national backorder a couple of weeks ago when I was looking but I'd trust Ben's source more saying that the tire's been discontinued all together. Hopefully Pirelli comes out with a replacement tire for this size.

Better get some of those while supplies last. Your BBS wheels are badass and I am sure you will not be ready to give them up when you need a new set of tires.

Usually when this happen is where the tire manufacturer working on a new design and line.
I don't think they will stop making 335/25-22 at all. There are too much demand for it.
Let's just hope that will be the case.

I just mounted a set of 22's with the Pirelli Scorpions (335/25/22 rears). Purchased through Need 4 Speed Motorsports. May want to check with them on where they sourced them.

In March 2015 Pirelli was sold to ChinaChem.
Pirelli has plants in 14 countries including China.
I'm sure they have strong QA to differentiate them from lessor quality Chinese companies. I just checked my 20" scorpions I&S are made in Germany.

These are the tires I have been running as well. Ordered them through Mavis in Jan 2016.

Currently running my second set in 4 years and I would recommend these tires for anyone on 22's. Solid, light weight and handles the roads quite well in all kinds of weather conditions.

I plan to keep this style tire for as long as I can so I hope they have not been discontinued when it2time to order a new set for the Signature Wheels I ordered.

Front and rear?
So you are running non-staggered then.
The problem right now is, Pirelli Scorpion Zero Assimetrico no longer available on 335/25-22. Which is the rear tires for staggered setup.

I think I'm the only one here running the 22" Chinese tires since I couldn't wait so I figured I can give a quick impression on them for those that are desperate as well.

First of all, these are my first ever set of Chinese tires for any vehicle. I read reviews on the Lexani and Lionhart tires which I'm convinced are the same tires just rebranded. The reviews were similar to that of the Pirelli Scorpion Zero Assimetrico where users noted that the tires were nice and quite at first but after logging some miles on the tires, the road noise became louder. I also read horror stories of the tires being out of round etc.

After logging about 400 miles so far on these Lexani tires, so far all is good. Ride is smooth. Tires/wheels balanced ok. No road noise from the tires (yet). Will see how well they hold up for daily driving and hopefully Pirelli at least announces whatever their plans are for 335/25-22 soon.
