My New (To me) F15
Just took delivery of this 35i Sport to replace my 2011 35d Sport.
Saphire Black on Black Dakota. I had wanted to get Space Grey, but I had a good deal on this and still have a little factory warranty left. Those tacky brake cover calipers will have to go, and the weathertech wind deflectors around the windows. Gloss black performance grills and Invisihitch on the way!! As well as Open Grills!

OK, just installed my invisihitch. I won't go through the install process as it's well documented here. I did however make a few changes to the wiring on the trailer side. I did not like the 7 way receptacle that came with the harness. I prefer to use the one made by Pollack which has both a 7way and a 4 way flat. So I don't have to worry about adapters when I want to tow a small trailer. Pollack make a better quality unit as well. Much better that the Curt unit which came with my Invisihitch. A well protected wire harness which plugs into the dual receptacle.
As you can see here, receptacle has both 7 way and 4 way. With spring loaded water resistant covers. Comes with a sturdy mounting bracket which it clips into. I drilled a couple of holes in the stock invisihitch bracket and bolted the Pollack bracket to it using stainless screws. Painted the drill holes with rust proof black paint before bolting them together. Wire colors are different from the BMW harness, so you have to wire by function. Took me a while, but its all working. Absolutely no cutting of the bumper was needed.
