I reached out to my CA for everyone that has PM'd me. He has not got back to me yet, maybe he is off.

I hope everyone understands. I don't want to spread his name around all the forums and everyone just assumes they call him and will get the same deal I did. It took me almost 4 weeks of negotiations and pricing out the X5 with 5 or more dealers in NJ and NY and also with a few lease brokers in NYC. A lot of time and work back and forth. Like I told everyone, I will reach out to him (which i did) and if he gives me the go ahead, I will spread his name and number all over the internet.... LOL.

I buy a new BMW every 2 years or so, so I try to find a good CA that can be my "go to" when i need him. It's been very difficult to find one as either they move on to Mercedez or another dealership, or I move further away.

Totally understand. You dont need to spread his name all over internet. You can just PM for those who are interested.

I'm aware of the significant price variants between the US, UK and the middle east, but I got a very good deal on my X5 50i Pure experience, fully loaded at around $97,500.

This is a great thread!

I'm in North Florida and not having much luck working with my local dealer on the price of ordering a 35d. If anyone has any CA recommendations, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I don't know whats MSRP but it sound like a good thing you guys have in the states more than one dealer, you can negotiate the price.

For me I'm from Qatar and just purchased X5 35i

with rear camera sun roof & navigation

It's qouted as 312000 QR + 4500QR for navigation a total of 316.5 about $ 86,712.
Since it's a gift for my mother & I work as an engineer I was able to get some discount to get it down to 279,000 + 4,500 with a total of 283,500 QAR about 77,671 USD

with 5 years waranty & service including every thing BUT tires or 60K km and i can extend the service package after that.

It's supposed to arrive on the 3rd of June

You guys think 59k drive out is a good deal on a x5? Msrp is 58,300. They sold my friend the car for 55k + ttl etc. I think we did okay. We went to two other dealerships in Houston and they wouldn't budge off of msrp.

I jus paid MSRP -2080 for the same, but in Mocha Nappa Mineral Silver, and minus:

- 6FH, Rear-seat entertainment Professional

- 4NB, 4-zone automatic climate control

- 2VM, Dynamic Damper Control + rear axle air suspension

Plus:

- Space saver spare

- Leather Package

MSRP was $71,050 before the mentioned discount.

Just paid 73,927 for an X5d. That price included a 1K incentive from BMW (so actual selling price to the dealer was 74,927) for the Un4gettable sales event. MSRP $79,600, invoice (per KBB) 73,085. It took a real battle (all day at the dealer) to get down to this price. Their first offer was almost 5K higher than this and had a market up money factor. So, let's just say, we had a long way to go from first offer to final.

X5d
Mineral White/Mocha Nappa
M sport
Cold weather
Driver assist
Driver assist plus
Lighting package
Premium package
Seating Package
Adaptive M suspension
Harman/Kardon
Acc/stop go
4 zone AC
Manual Rear Shades
Park assist
20" M double spokes

Now I'm in the "waiting patiently for build". Hoping we can take deliver in SC, however, no work back from BMW on available dates.

This car was purchased in S. FL, in case anyone cares.

Thank you. Yeah, jumping to the 5.0 wasn't a huge increase in price (because the options lay out a little differently), but, we really wanted the diesel engine, the 5.0 is a great time to drive, but my wife would hate the trips to the gas station. She actually considers "range" as a very important buying criteria.

The only big options we didn't add are night vision and the dynamic handling package. Didn't feel the need to spend the money on DHP when we were able to go to the M suspension for so much less. We want it sporty anyway, so, hopefully that won't be a mistake. Night vision seems a bit unnecessary to me given that we're already paying so much extra to have better lighting. Also, I'm not sure if we'd really be able to use it effectively, seems strange to look at a monitor while driving (I'm sure you get used to it).

Oh, the other one was active steering. Didn't add that because saw too many people complaining about it. And, frankly, how lazy can we be? Too lazy to turn the wheel 3 more times when driving at low speed.

But, if you went all the way, active steering, DHP, night vision and BO sound system you could add another 10K to the price. So, in my mind, we were being frugal!

I am looking for dealers to build our next BMW x5, the choice is so tough with a fully loaded 35D or a decent equipped 50i! In my opinion the DHP isn't worth it unless you push your v8 engine hard. M sport suspension should suffice the diesel/35i engine.

These cars are selling so hot right now in north California right now really making it tough to get a decent deal going.

If nothing else, make sure you do the Un4gettable event, that will get you 1K off the best price you can negotiate, no questions asked. Dealer doesn't care at all, the money comes from BMW.

Maybe not the best deal out there but I feel like they made me work pretty hard to get it.

Obviously Australia is hideously expensive compared to most parts in the world (however we get well specced base models), i just signed up a X5 25d for 93k, with full M sport, Pano sunroof, HUD, Blinds and 5yrs free service. In Alpine white, with Terra interior.

Taking a bit of a gamble on the Terra as i have not seen one in the flesh and it was between that and the Mocca , but went for something a little different this time

2014 (July Slot should have in 2 weeks) was pissed ordered on 6/18 that is was not a 2015 ( I asked them then found out a day later I could of!!)
X5 XDrive 3.5i
Carbon Blk
M Sport Pkg
Lux Seat Pkg
Cold Weather Pkg
Prem Pkg
Comfort Rear Seats
Harman
Rear View Camera
Spare Tire

Chicagoland
$64,000 about 5% below MSRP

Priced out compared to 2015 with pkg options matching 2014 with discounts the 2015 would be $2700 more (only Diff 2015 has leather dash in Prem Package).

Now just debating on extended warrantees. Would love a 10y 100,000...

ARe you aware that BMW won't be providing complimentary service going forward on 2015 Models for anyone but the initial owner of the vehicle?

Not sure if this will matter depending how long you keep the car. I would think if you are only going to keep it 2 or 3 years it "may" lose a little more value since the next owner won't get any complimentary service and the value proposition is a little lower.

If you keep the car 4 years or more it doesn't matter at all of course.

Here is info on this for anyone thinking of buying a used BMW going forward or buying a new one but not keeping it for long period.

Hey,

That is interesting. TBO I will be keeping this for 6+ years! (I still have my 2001 530) So that does not factor in. I also did look at resale and the 2014/2015 at around year 6 would sell for 1400 (4000 - 2600 price diff= 1400) Then going past that it is about the same.

Not that I agree/disagree but, that does make sense on cutting cost as I would do the same for loyal buyers upfront.

There was a couple of standard/packages changes for 2015 that looks to be price. Example. Technology pkg (phone/bluetooth) was standard now is a option. Soft close doors was in a package but it an option. Overall the 2015 base was 500 more and other options added up to another 1000-1500 to the cost to be equal to 2014.

The only major difference was that standard trans was 1/10 faster in 2015. Not sure how that relates to me as I got sport.

Thanks for sharing this info!
