Best springs to lower the x5 ?

I have a 2014 x5 3.5. Not sure what springs to get I have 22 inch wheels on it now.

Simple answer: Eibach springs. They have moderate drop, but keep balanced ride. No bumpiness. Earlier (like in 2014-2015) folks went for H&R. They drop more, but they have bumpy ride.
There's a local vendor r33_RGSport (Ben), shoot him a PM and he will get back to you with price and shipment to your zip. He is a trusted guy here. Eibach set is very affordable, installation is under 3 hours. Ask Ben, but I think there are 2 sets of Eibach for self-leveling rear suspension and for usual one (non self leveling).

Also, if you drop it - you might consider some spacers, unless your 22's are already wide enough.

Here's a pic how they look on 22's on AZTWW X5 - imho they look fantastic: https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...8&postcount=61

and couple more pics: https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...0&postcount=65

What suspension do you have? DHP, Adaptive M-Sport or the standard suspension?

Do you have air bags or springs in the rear?

Ok. In that case, Like Dush said, get with Ben at RGsport. He'll get you the 4 piece Eibach kit.

I did the Eibach from Ben. Note, it took about 1000-2000 miles for them to break in and I needed to have the x5d aligned a second time. Now it is running well, lowered, but probably not as nice as if I had DHP.

Ben, they look very interesting.
I added a picture found on H&R website, for anyone else wondering what they look like.
But what are your thoughts on these when used in climates with winter and salt on the roads?

Thnx

Thank you.
In the package they include oil to prevent rust.

Here is the picture that I took.

+1 on Eibach's, this will be the 4th vehicle I have lowered and this is the only time it's made the ride better than factory. Unreal!

Are they planning on making an updated springs on standard suspension? ETA?
Ive read good riviews on eibach but the drop is too moderate.
Would be nice to have eibach ride quality with H&R drop.

Unfortunately I wouldn't know.
Your best bet right now is KW V3.

Let me add.
Winter road salt are very harsh.
The oil included will prevent rust temporarily, but I don't think it will be bulletproof.
Your best bet is to maintain it every end of winter when you change to summer tires by spraying it with fresh water, then re-apply the oil and do the same when switching to winter tires.

Anyone had a chance to really compare the new HR with the eibach? Drop? Ride quality?
