Lol so far EBT. And believe me I never thought I would figure it out.
Next I'd like to make the ventilated seats colder. Anyone else done it? If so, could you notice an improvement? Mine work well enough to keep my back and butt from sweating but would like a little more.

Ahh ok. After seeing your comment I do recall reading that seat temperature is related to interior cabin temperature. I wonder if it's worth increasing fan speed, or if that is just going to put unnecessary wear on them.

You might have noticed that the ventilation function works in a similar way to the heated function, as in when you select the highest setting (vent or heat) it will automatically drop to the middle setting after a while.
Therefore I guess the highest fan speed is not designed to work continuously. |

True, it seems that what can be coded, is the time or temperature when the car "decides" to drop to a lower setting. I played with those option but could not really tell the difference so i coded back to stock to avoid any issues. It would make a hell of a difference if the air was actually cooled i think.

Alright well I think I'm just gonna leave it alone then. Don't want to burn out the fans for not much added air flow. As is, it generally keeps me from sweating on my backside, which I guess is all bmw was trying to do.

Lil help appreciated. I wanted to do a few things on my new f15 but been told by bimmercode that 3 of them (out of 4) are not possible. Anyone here know of a way to do them:
1) turn Auto-H on by default on startup (or remember last setting) 2) turn auto wipers on by default on startup (or remember last setting) 3) match detected speed limit onto cruise control setting. Eg if o move from 60mph into 30mph zone the car detects it fine but I manually have to drop down to 30 - can it be coded to pick up the new value from the speed limit function into the cruise control function...?

I haven't seen any of these codes mentioned on any of the F series. I seem to remember reading about the auto-hold coding a while ago and the consensus was that is in fact not possible to code it. I never use auto-hold so did not do any research on it. I actually hate the auto-wipers (have them on a Golf V and had them on my previous Mercedes Benz). You need to only forget them "ON" once during winter to really dislike them for good.
Later Edit: Found on the F10 coding cheat sheet that there are 2 modules that must be coded for Auto-hold: - DSC --> Funktion_AutomaticDriveawayRelease (change to aktiv/werte=01) - EMF -->ADR_AKTIV (change to ADR_ein) Again, this is for F10 and it is specified in the cheat sheet that it does not seem to be working, at least not for everyone. Still, if you have bimmercode, you might as well give it a shot (using expert mode) Last edited by mkdan2004; 06-21-2018 at 02:55 AM.. |

Auto-Hold on by default would be very annoying when manoeuvring out from a car park.

made fdl encoding without deleting 5ap and 8s4. The distribution of light works, but it is not correct. if the distribution works as it does, it may not be necessary to remove these 2 parameters from fa? firmware version 14-03-503. (52.3_52.4) |

Hi guys! Does anyone remember where, and what parameter exactly is for the option to change a delay for moonroof closing via key fob? I am trying to get the moonroof to close immediately with locking the car by a single button press. Can’t remember, or find it for the life in me! Thank you!

Sorry you said speed. You can change how far out they activate but not sure about dead zones. The radar is the radar. It's going to have natural dead zones based on physics. But like I said I believe you can adjust how far out it will alert you to a vehicle. It's under the same section as changing the speed settings.
