Dinan X5M mods on brand new vehicle

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hi all! Just ordered a new X5M (also secured a build slot) and was wondering if it is advisable to install Dinan stage 2 tune, air intake and exhaust prior to delivery or should I wait till after break in? Pros and cons?

No real reason to wait...just do it right away and maybe take it a little easy on it until after the 1200 mile srvc.

My salesman told me the Dinan mods do not affect the warranty. My car is in production! Can't wait and keep adding to the mods with ppf and carbon shift knob and console.

As it turns out, the vehicle arrived before the Dinan stuff so I took delivery without the mods. My dealer tells me that Dinan moved their facility and there has been quite a delay if you were untimely and ordered recently. I love the car without the mods but will appreciate it more when the parts come in. I am thinking the shift paddles are too short and am considering changing them. Does anyone have a good supplier and and are they difficult to install?
