Vbox tested the RaceChip GTS Black
Pretty impressed with the new box. On setting 7 it feels as smooth as oem. Also impressed with the power. The RC Ultimate on "D" ran a best of 0 to 100mph in 8.5 seconds in cool weather. The GTS Black ran 0 to 100mph in 8.5 seconds in today's nasty 90F weather and 4700ft DA. Very impressed so far. "Should" be 0.10 quicker in cooler weather.

Look at that new sleek design.
Doesn't looks like something came out of Radio Shack.

As onfireX5 mentioned. I was told the same then. Why would I deceive you when I can trade in the older module to them. I still have a few of the older module in stock anyway, where I am doing clearance.

After warranty is a good idea. X5M has RC,Akra and Dinan Intake. F90 is pure stock so far. Stock F90 M5 is 1.3 seconds quicker to 100mph than the modified X5M............but I still find myself driving the X5M more........

You have a situation that must people would like to be in as in choosing which beast to take out. BTW got to post up some vbox numbers for the F90 would love to see the comparison between both s63 engine cars!

My numbers come from the same strip, similar weather and 3400ish DA so they will disappoint you as compared to the magazine articles. Average 0 to 60 in the F90 pure stock is 3.1 seconds. X5M with above mods is 3.6 seconds. F90 1/8th mile is 7.2 at 100mph. X5M is 7.7 at 95mph. 0 to 100mph F90 is 7.2 seconds, X5M is 8.5 seconds. X5M is a great overachiever at 5300lbs. X5M is 11.8-11.9 at 115mph quarter mile. F90 is tbd. Take both to sea level and the times will improve.

X5M has 26,000 miles on it with RC. Stock plugs and coils. Just drove it 11 hours in one day. No issues with stock so far, but the key is keeping the boost increase to a 3psi max. If I pushed it to 4 or 5 I would drop one heat range and slightly close the gap to help prevent misfires. Only reason you do that is you are stressing the stock ignition system over 21psi. Then it misfires due to elevated cylinder pressure that it was not designed to fire.
