Hello. I am new to BMW and this site. Can someone guide me on what is necessary to change the codes on my BMW f15? I know all the instruction are posted but where do you get the software/files to do it? Is there any specific site for this? Thank you.

Is there a coding solution to make the universal remote (garage door opener) work without turning the ignition on?

This is my top issue with the car right now. I want to open the garage door before starting the engine, so I am forced to turn on ignition, open garage door, start engine.

does anyone know if I can play DVD movies on my Navi pro screen? I've never even thought of it but if the screen allows it then why not trying

Or do I need TV option for that?

Yes, you can play DVD.

If you wan't to play DVD while in Motion though, you must code it.

Woohoo! Was able to get my first code working - closing the trunk with the keyfob. Thanks to all of you who are helping out with this thread (especially Shawn for sending me all the necessary files.) Absolutely impossible to do without this thread.

For F10 it is 25 kmh. I assume F15 is same, but it is possible it is 20 kmh. Code it and see.

Can someone help me please, when I try to code some folders, the names are all missing, it just has a '.'. And in some other folders like body when I try to read the file, error comes up saying missing.

Do you read and follow this note?

"* NOTE: E-Sys Launcher Car Series MUST be set to exactly match the car's chassis type you are coding (e.g. F01, F06, F07, F10, F12, F15, F25, F30, F82, F83, etc.). If after install it defaults to F999 and it cannot be changed, change PC Date ahead 4 days, then change E-Sys Launcher Car Series, then change PC Date back to current date. DO NOT craete .EST Token and PIN with PC Date advanced 4 days as the Validity Start Date for the token will be 4 days in the future."
