Installation wise, 1 minute of your life.
It is very easy, on the scale 1 to 10, I put 0.5.
Gain wise, it is advertised up to 60whp on stock car. With higher settings and mods, I've heard and read crazy things about it, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you really know what you are doing.
3 forums member that I can remember using it. bluelodge, @cy07, and @X5jouster. My apology if I forget the others.
r33 - Thanks for the feedback. Looks easy enough and the gain in performance is outstanding.
What is the cost of the tune?

Dinan

My thought on Dinan was be it still covers the warranty and doesn't out me at risk to save a few bucks on the install. I felt the BMW ppk wasn't worth the money as it didn't deliver to much of a performance upgrade. You guys feel different on the alternative for what reasons?

I would say that it is personal preference. I personally go with BMS because it has been proven to be the best for the bucks and performance in the piggy back tunes. Dinan was just recently decided to do a piggy back tunes. Even though they were always claiming their products to be better than a piggy back system. But then why they decided to move over into the piggy back business and charges the consumer so much for it.

It is a love hate relationship with new cars.
Everyone that I know usually keep cars no longer than 5 years... typically after they pay off their car purchase they usually trade it in for another.. so the monthly payments continues virtually forever!

In my non professional opinion is that if you are only keeping the car for 5 or 6 years the excessive oil change would not make much of a difference especially with synthetic oil. If they are planning to keep the car for 10 - 20 years.. then I can understand their concerns.. and to me it is rare to see people keep their cars that long these days.

Dinan Stage 1

I picked up my new 2015 X5 5.0 M sport recently and after driving it for 1200 miles I took it to Dinans for the Performance Tuner Stage 1 computer upgrade.
Surprisingly it made a big difference the power felt better across the board with the same drivability with the biggest difference above 4000 RPM.

You must have a hook up or something because the only upgrades I see are license plate frames, lol: http://dinancars.com/products/?serie...i-f15&mid=1209

Yeah, what's up? They don't show anything available yet on their website. Did you go to Morgan Hill?

How did you get this installed. Not seeing it as available on the web site, as Opasha noted. Please share your inside info!

I called them to see if they had anything in the works and they did just not on the website yet. Yes I took it to Morgan Hill for the install.
