I think I had my sister's cell, my son's cell, climate control and something about radio options that would take me into the control to pause/tick back/tick forward for the satellite radio. I think that one was the one I used most followed by my sister's phone.

Oh, and a neat thing that they did is if you put you finger on a button but don't press it, some text shows at the top of the iDrive screen that will tell you what the button does. That's SO helpful when you can't remember what you set on your less-used buttons.
Thank you, Barbara!

This helps a lot because now we have two more buttons. I already put Split Screen On/Off, Traffic View/Regular View, BMW Widgets (if I want to see the weather), and few others. It's pretty cool, but I still cannot believe Compass/Direction is not an always-on option. Even if you never use it, it was always nice to have that.
While we are on topic, I hate the fact that Date is not always on either.

Nope, not possible with F15, "Rear Climate Off" or whatever it is called is "Not programmable" selection, which doesn't make sense to me, also there were others like you cannot program Tone to any button, that was also surprising..

Yeah, some great pros and cons. That's the one advantage of the 6WB. You can program the speed into the circles and just use the bottom BC stalk menu for the date since almost everything else shows up on your cluster like AVERAGE MPG and FUEL MILEAGE LEFT.

Excellent choice, especially if you have passengers in the rear often. I have not used mine yet should take delivery this Friday.

Since my son sits in the front seat now, I don't have passengers in the rear all that often. However, when I do, its three teenagers and even with the 4-zone, they STILL argue over the A/C setting. Imagining what it would be like with 2-zone makes me more than willing to fork over the cash!

@SDRX, I totally forgot I had take a picture of my rear interior and you can clearly see the B-pillar vents here right behind the seat belt. Hope this helps, buddy :

I know how you feel. It's a great feature, but to be totally honest, I rarely open it, haha. I'm sure I will when the weather gets better .

I can take a better picture when I get my car back, but here's a picture of it when I took a pic of my WeatherTech mats:

Thread resurrection!

Does the climate display at the front look any different for 4 zone vs 2 zone? In the g30 the 4 zone option gives you a nicer front display but wondering if the same applies to the f15?

Glag you resurrected this, cause I would like to know how to enable 4-zone climate control. Is it just about rear controls and coding....or is there some other module involved.
A lot of pics are not showing any more.

4 zone climate control include an extra filter, so it is not that simple.

I'm sure you'll find some fake buttons on eBay to match the brakes.

It's a completely different system. Additional blowers. Additional vents in the B pillars. Wiring may or may not even exist through the center Console to where the unit would reside. Anything's doable but let's be honest. Sometimes it's just not worth it and I think this is one of those mods.
