Add an aftermarket subwoofer to F15 with B&O
Hi all,
Just took possession of my custom build F15 50i m-sport Mocha Nappa/Mineral White. Love the car! I ordered with the B&O sound system and it sounds awesome but am thinking about adding a JL Audio 13W7 subwoofer. I already have a 1000/1 v2 amplifier from another car so it wouldnt be too expensive to add the sub. Question for you all, has anyone here added a sub to an F15 with B&O? ive seen a few threads for adding to the HK system but none for the B&O. If i add this will i need a line out converter? Im assuming the B&O system doesnt have a line level output. Would a JL Audio cleansweep CL441dsp do the trick or is there a better option? If i have to go the line out converter route does anyone know where the factory subwoofer cabling is located so i can tap into that? Thanks in advance for any help! |

I'm not sure if anyone has done anything, but this is a great place to start to familiarize yourself with the whole setup of your car audio: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.d...id=56087&hg=65

Wow, spend over $4000 for sound system and still feel the need to add more bass... I would just sell the sub and not mess with the system's DAP because it is not expecting the additional bass.
