Acquisition cost

Should I roll it in cap cost or pay upfront part of drive off?

What's the best practice?

I like paying for the acquisition fee, license, registration, and other fees up front because I don't want to pay tax and interest on these items (although I believe acquisition is sometimes taxed up front too). Another benefit is that it helps keep the deal clean so you can easily see all fees itemized and the selling price used for the deal is left untouched. This helps me know I'm getting the deal I agreed upon. Also, if you were to extend your lease by a few months then you would be paying extra for no reason.

Some people like walking out with very little up front and that's okay if you don't mind a higher monthly payment and paying extra on the fees for the convenience of little or no money down.
