Sorry I missed that!

I don’t have the bumper anymore. I sold it locally soon after I removed it.

I'm thinking about trading my X5 in and the entire kit will be fore sale if it goes through.

Progress

I FINALLY got all the parts necessary to get the rear bumper put back on. And while I was waiting for the Blind Spot Detector brackets to arrive, I received a 6WB cluster

Everything is put together nicely. The whole install went very smooth once all the rear brackets/mounts were in. Hopefully this thread gives anyone else that is looking to do the conversion an idea of how much is involved in getting this done.

6WB install was also a breeze, although it did have to be remotely coded.

I think I owed some of you some front bumper shots, so here they are:

2, 3) Accessories 51118066726, 51118066729 , 51118066729,

I assume you have Surround View.

Bracket for Camera in TCG 51118056342
Lower Center Grille 51118056259

Right Grill/Trim 51118056262
So the left and right adaptor (looks like #5 in the pic. Part # 51118056289/90) aren't needed in the f85 bumper upgrade? I have the non-m sport bumper but I do have the fender flares. Also any idea if my park sensors will work? Looks like everyone with the m-sport bumpers swap them onto the f85 bumpers, wondering if mine can just be painted and installed..

As much as I would love to update the headlights, I think I’m good for now… I’m waiting on my knee pads to arrive. And next will possibly be a front splitter!

Unfortunately, I can’t answer the question regarding the left and right brackets… the park sensors should work, just get them painted

I can tell you that I needed those adapters, mine was an X-Line. And just re-use your parking sensors, they are the same.

Ah ok, So maybe the M-sport adaptors will work but going from an x-line to f85 needs them.. I actually have a whole m-sport aftermarket kit I got for free with a broken front bumper maybe I have the adaptors already..

Awesome. Get those X6 kneepads for the middle console if you can. Have the same leather as you and It will look great. Your car looks great!

Here is the list of parts (including bumper) that I had ordered:
51-11-8-066-732 M Bumper cover
51-11-8-056-302 Absorber
51-11-8-066-726 Tow Bracket Cover
51-11-8-056-289 Adapter
51-11-8-056-290 Adapter
51-11-8-066-729 Lmp Washer Cover
51-11-8-066-730 Lmp Washer Cover
51-11-8-056-341 Center Grille
51-11-8-056-342 Center Grille Holder
51-11-8-056-259 Lower Grille
51-11-8-056-261 Outer lower Grille left
51-11-8-056-262 Outer lower Grille right

This all came to under 500$ (not including bumper) shipped. I already had purchased the slanted M grills from RGSPORT. If these are all the parts that I need, then all the bits and pieces necessary to install, seem to be the obvious parts necessary for it to be visually complete. I have updated my original post to include pictures of the project car
Is there a grill available if you don't have the front camera?

Is the list you posted everything I would need if I have the M sport now? Or would I just need the bumper it's self? Rock auto has them for $120 but shipping it is $150. Tryijg to figure out exactly what I need. Thanks

Breathing air into this Thread again, anyone of you others who did this retrofit with ACC? Re used the old grille or did you modify the X5M grille?

Sorry so late to reply, but if you haven’t done it already (or for others that are interested), you will need the whole parts list even if you have an M Sport.

It adds up quickly, especially after paint. If you can sell your factory M-Sport exhaust, it helps to balance out the cost.
