I had my production number the same day the dealer ordered car. They printed a vehicle inquiry sheet for me, which listed the build. The form had the production number on it.
There is no branding on the form so I can't tell if it's a dealership form or from BMW corporate. I do note that at the top of the form it has a label for "Priority" and the value is "1 - Customer Sold" Evan |

So after attending a BMW ultimate drive event, man, I was converted on how these machines move and look! At the end of the month, I used Truecar, and 3 dealers contacted me immediately. Then I just told them I wanted around %8 off MSRP on a custom build 2016 F15, and two said they could do that. Add in the $1500 option credit with %1.9 financing, and we got about %10.2 off MSRP. We took delivery less than 3 weeks after order. Such a gorgeous vehicle, so I got a clear bra professionally installed (Xpel Ultimate).

PS: I signed up on BMWUSA.com and added a vehicle using my production number. The status is "in production" but no completion date is given.
I called (where xxxxxxx is prod number) and the automated response indicated completion date. 1 (800) 831-1117,,2,,,xxxxxxx,,1 (Commas create pauses in case someone has not seen that before. You can just dial main number too.) |

Sorry if I've missed this in previous pages, but the general 7-8% off MSRP for 2016s that most people are negotiating, does that also apply to the X5e? Or are dealers balking because it's new and saying they want MSRP or close to it for the X5e?
edit: typo

Here is a deal i am considering right now. Is it a good deal for a 2015 X5 35d?
MSRP: 71470 selling price: 64300 Out the door: 70500 Packages are M sport, Premium, 3rd row, Driver Assistance and Harman Kardon. It seems to me like a reasonable deal, but not sure if it is a great one for a 2015. I am looking at 2015 primarily to get a deeper discount below invoice. otherwise, I can go with 2016. thanks in advance for the feedback. Also, if you know any dealers that could beat this in southern cali, pls do let me in on the detail. |

If someone has a recommendation for a dealer in Southern California willing to offer competitive pricing, can you please PM me? I'm looking to purchase a custom order 2016 BMW X5 xDrive35i from the factory.
I am aware of Greg Poland at Pacific BMW, but am looking for other suggestions. Thanks in advance! |

Nothing gets better than Greg. He's a thorough gentlemen. Car salesman with no BS. Though I didn't end up buying with him, but I'd recommend him in a heartbeat. Great guy, kudos to him. I've talked to several dealers in CA and nobody comes close to his pricing. Seriously

Can you negotiate mine? I thought I did good at less than $500 above invoice. I don't get why a dealer would sell a car for less than invoice unless your company or something gives them a back end rebate (fleet pricing). Either way, you got it done, Congrats! What's the dealer and advisors name? I'll buy a car from them.

2016 X5 Questions
What is a good deal on a X5 40e with a MSRP of $79,020? Seems hard to find a discount in the NY, NJ area.
Can multiple BMW incentives be combined for a larger discount? Is the 2016 X5 diesel in production yet? If not, When does it start? |
