Does the high beam assist not function if the fog lights are on? It works fine with the fogs off but if enabled with fogs on it just turns the high beam off when there is an incoming car or a car in front of you. Just wanted make sure this is normal and not something I missed during coding. Thanks!

There is a coding option to enable fogs and HB at the same time but I don't think that's really your issue. The HB should turn off the fogs when enables if anything.

So the premium version of the launcher doesnt work ? Only option is $50 launcher ? Just got my car from dealer and all my BODY coding is gone.

Launcher Premium 2.8 is working fine.

Hi,

I coded the rear view camera to be on. But, after reversing, it takes quite a bit time to turn off rear view camera and get back to the initial idrive screen. Which specific attribute needs to be updated with which value so that "change screen action" can be completed quicker?

I could not find option: rdc_druck_temp.
I have x5 f15, nbt evo.

I coded VLD (Variable Light Distribution) on my 15' X5 50i (Bi xenons) a month ago, but recently noticed that the beams started always staying in the low (<30mph) position, I re coded it again last night and it started working again where it adjusts correctly based on your mph.

Has this happened to anyone else? If its going randomly stop working after a month or two, Ill probably code it back to stock.

I haven’t done any coding yet but am thinking about it. One of things I wanted was EBT ,but on the bmw site that shows everything my car has, it doesn’t show 6NH or 6NS. My X4 I had had EBT already. My X5 not so much.
I have the following. 0609, 06AC,06AE,06AK,06AM,06AN,06AP,06AR and 06WB
Is there any reason I wouldn’t be able to get it with what I have?

Not having 6NH is normal for F15. Just VO Code NBT for 6NS. You have NBT Head Unit so you can have EBT.

did you do it via VO coding, or just FDL?

That is FDL coding. Any time the dealer flashes an update to your vehicle, you are going to loose that coding.

To code VLD permanently, you need to follow the instructions in the first post and remove 8S4 from your FA, then VO Code BDC_Body. This process will reset any other coding you have done to the BDC_BODY module back to factory settings, but it will permanently enable VLD and you will never have to touch it again. Once it's done, you can recode all the goodies you want in the BDC_BODY module.

My car just got updated at the dealership and BDC_BODY changed a bit, i can no longer code DRL tail lamps because the code option only displays the default value and an "unknown" option in the dropdown menu, does anyone know the werte value to activate DRL tail lamps? it was previously an option that displayed as "sl_l" or "sl_2_l" for both inner and outer light.

I never get the option of clicking on the connect button, it is always greyed out. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

It is with great pleasure to say I FINALLY figured out how to get things coded.
Huge shout out to Shawn Sheridan for listening to my questions and helping out. After many questions and reading the steps over and over I was able to do it. Now it doesn't seem that hard, everything else should hopefully be a breeze.
