I like how they differentiated the front-end of the MSport from the X5's version. I think it looks cool.

I dont understand why the new X6 gets 24 MPG highway and X5 gets 27 MPG high way.

Is this a typo? X5 has weight of 4790lbs and X6 has a lower weight of 4750lbs while (based on Xdrive 35i) both have same engine.

This car is very good looking. It only needs one or two 21" optional wheels.
Sadly the X4 is ugly. Macan is the way to go for something smaller.

About the engine options, it doesn't seem right to me that they are offering the 35i with an engine that is going to be replaced next year (40i)

I actually considered getting a Macan instead of an X6. I really liked the Macan, but I just couldn't get over Porche's horrendous electronics features and usability. BMW is head and shoulders above them in that area. I want a smaller, really nice performance SUV (which the X4 isn't), but not enough to give up all the awesome toys.

Do you think that they'll actually offer the 40i (or whatever) in a 2016 X6 or wait for an LCI?

I read in a news article somewhere that they were going to just slip it into the 2015 production in 1Q next year. Everything you read on the inter-web is true, right?

Do people get 27MPG out of their X5 35i's? I had to be driving an entire tank out at 70mph downhill to get 24mpg in my last X6 35i. 27mpg would be a dream. If I was planning a trip, I would use 20mpg as a guesstimate.

I don't think Macan has the same road presence as the x6. This is one mean looking suv.

That has to be a mistake. EPAs site shows 18/27 for the 2015 X6 35i:

http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/noframes/35522.shtml

The 2014 was rated at 17/24.

I like the new X6, esp with the M-Sport.

I tried to fully customize with my favorite color combo, it's 102,300$ fully loaded with almost all packages.
but why on earth they can't make Coral Red Leather with Ventilated Seats?

Or ivory dakota multi-contour seats. It's not like the don't exist (x5). You have to go to the Ivory/Black interior design package to get ivory MC seats. The IIDP would be fine if the seats weren't skunk striped! I ordered terra instead. I've never owned a car without beige or lighter interior. I hope I like it. I'm going to think of it as driving in my living room!

No. Any interior that looks like a skunk makes me pause.
