Same here - frustrating as the 'analog' clock really does't scale properly, thereby looking like a cheap digital watch -
Aside from the widgets (when they work) - I find the split screen content options leaving a lot to be desired - a clear flat-spot on what has been an outstanding machine to date |

I am just back from Hong Kong/mainland China now facing one month on the road (4K+) and this is what BMW gives me? I find the weather/digital clock widget very helpful with driving on the open road since the cabin is already busy with radar detectors and an iP6 with related apps.

Just reporting the first day of driving 4K and the absence of our apps is very disappointing as my iP is used for other tasks and today is a severe weather day in OK.

If you are concerned with severe weather while driving during the iPhone app RadarScope. It is the only realtime weather radar...all the other apps have a slight delay. I use RadarScope everyday, it is a great resource.

As I said, my iP is busy with apps related to my CMs (EL + SA) so although the BMW app does not give me a detailed moving radar scan, it does provide useful information when on the open road driving a few 100 miles a day.

OK Thank you - I got that working, and now I see what everyone is complaining about - no clock + weather in split screen. so strange that weather works in full screen

This method shows a five day forecast and details for morning, mid day, evening etc, even when the split screen widget is not working:
