2013 50i
Im showing 12.4 mpg all stop and go for the past 3000 ish miles of mainly inner city driving (tons of stop signs and stop lights) with an average speed of 26mph. I obviously don't baby it now, but when it was new I could keep it in the low 14mpg range. However I can get in-between 20.5-21 with the cruise set on 80mph on the interstate. All numbers are from the computer, so accuracy is off some. |

Doesn't sound promising.
But on the other hand, has anyone on this forum ever actually achieved the promised EPA mileage figures on ANY car? I doubt it -- we BMW fans would seem to have a genetic disposition to lead feet. And I wonder if anyone in the general population (other than our dear mothers or grandmothers) has ever succeeded at that either. |

35 vs 50. Is also v6 vs v8. 300hp vs 450 hp. The differences from E70 to F15 should be similar. Rember there is a 50 hp increase in the 50. Fuel is also improved with the air breathers. Also Ocatane 89 is min, 91 is recommended. some may use 93. I use 91 with no ethanol.
