Revisiting the Kombi display with X5 M50d. I didn't have any other option than BMW/MPM. Suspect i need a software update for the Kombi.
What production date do you guys have so you could enable it?

I came across the below thread, and seemingly a Kombi flash update sorted it. Don't think I am brave enough to risk doing it myself so will get it done at the dealer next time the car is there.

THANKS!!

I want to say many thanks for OPASHA's help with coding. He takes a lot of his time helping those who take a leap into the coding world.

Hi opasha
Does coding also reset the learned driving habits? Just curious.. When it resets on-board info, does it also reset acceleration/transmission training that it learned over driving period?

To the best of my knowledge, no, unless it's something related to DME (engine). However, I did find something on resetting driving habits in an e70 x5/x5m forum:
"1. Key in slot, do not touch brake pedal
2. Still not touching brake pedal, hit start button
3. Floor throttle pedal for a good 30 seconds (used my phone stopwatch, it's longer than you think)
4. Still not touching brake pedal, hit start button again
5. Wait 30 seconds, I waited longer actually
6. Start the car normally"

No idea if this works or not, but people noticed their car being more responsive afterward. The f15 is far newer, so beats me. I've never come across it in my coding research, but if anyone finds anything, let us know.

you can turn on the X5 M50d logo below the tach. I turned it off as it didn't make much sense to me to have it displayed on a 35i

psdzdata version

Hi Opasha.

I have the same problem as Charles521. I downloaded the full psdzdata v5.4.2
and when I open Esys (v3.26.1) the version showed is 5.0.1.

I put the pszdata folder extracted from the file in the folder c:\data as I read in the installation instructions, so may be the psdzdata I downloaded wasn´t v5.4.2.

Can you PM me the link for latest Esys and PSdZData?

Thanks.

Did you rename the extracted folder to "psdzdata" and delete the previous folder before placing the new one there? Also, use 7zip to extract the software. It's the only tool that extracts .zip and .rar files better than anything without getting corrupted. I've PMed you the software anyway, but follow the steps above before downloading so you aren't wasting your time .

...
PSdZData and PSdZ are not the same thing. When you click on E-Sys => Help => About E-Sys, it displays the PSdZ version used in the build of E-Sys, which is not the same as the PSdZData from ISTA/P used by E-Sys for coding.

If your Connection target is F025-14-11-502, then your using 54.2 PSdZData.

Read my post above.

Where are you seeing version "5.0.1" displayed?

HU_NBT [63] [0J30266]
readCPS o.k.
cafd_00000ded-003_013_025 Fehler:
