I have a bumper scratch and a door ding on my Audi from parking too close to entrance of the store. I just had my lease turn in inspection and wasn't charged for the door ding because it was less than 2", but I got charged for the scratches on the rear passenger side bumper.

If you park close to the entrance, you get your car damaged. If you park far, you get your car damaged. If you take two parking spaces, you're a jerk. There's no way to win.

If brown leather is your thing (i really like it btw) Note that Mocha comes with a brown lower dash and center console, I prefer the Terra because all the other trim is black so it really pops.
Saw a F15 in Alpine white, dressed with the M Sport package, Terra leather and Hex aluminum trim and it looked fantastic.

+1. First F15 I saw in person was that exact combo but mineral white instead of alpine. We were set on a black on black x-line, until we saw that car.. We ordered an M Sport in MW/Terra/Aluminum hexagon.

Great choice! I ordered the same combo. When I saw the carbon black metallic in person it was too awesome to pass up.

I like the beige interior but only for seats. I don't like the carpet and dash beige. Wish they allowed beige with black option. How much longer before they come out with more interior options?

Do you mean the ivory white w/ black (dakota), or the ivory nappa?

I'm torn too. I want the "luxury" of the nappa seats with the cool stitching, but I'm not a huge fan of the white lower dash and carpets.

Hidden option #3 is the ivory dakota with black and the nappa dash....

for some reason when I see pics of the ivory carpets I just see in my head someone spilling a glass of red wine on a bright white shag carpet. Makes no sense in the context of a car interior, obviously, but still it feels to me like putting your muddy feet on a new white wool sweater or something. Like it belongs in that formal living room you don't use and aren't aloud to sit in lol.

I'm in between these two colors as well. Here are the pictures I got from fellow members and dealers on the two interior colors.

The Ivory-Black car is of RickP member. I took the liberty of sharing his pics. Thanks Rick!

I like the beige but I don't the carpet beige. Ivory with black looks good but I dont how it is going to look after 3-4 years. I am planning to keep the car for atleast 6-7 years.

My heart says go with 1 or 2. My mind says go with 3 or 5. but I already own titanium silver 5 series. I can't make up my mind. My concern with black is scratches will be more visible. I am planning to keep this atleast for 6-7 years. Please help.
7) Black Saphire with Irory White and Black Dakota. Sweet
+1

The light interiors are a tough call IMO. I have lighter interior in my 911 (weekend car) and it shows everything. I prefer black in the business/family daily driver. Looks like new when I get rid of it.

I am still amazed the don't have black nappa. I have full leather on my current X5 and think it's fantastic and upscale. Dakota feels several grades lower w all the plastic bits and dash. Too bad... But I guess brown isn't so bad.

I like black cars, mineral white is cool...BMW Beige interior is hideous imo, looks cheap and gets super dirty....

When I first looked at buying the X5 I wanted Black on Black. Out of the color choices I thought Carbon black looked/sounded the best. When I went to the dealer they did not have an m sport in carbon black, but did have one in black sapphire. I am glad I purchased the black sapphire one! The black sapphire color is real dark with a very dark grey metallic flake. The carbon black which you would think would be really dark actually has a blue metallic flake to it. I actually like the black sapphire much better. IMO
