I have the X5 luxury line and put the staggered 20inch wheels on from a M sport. The 325 rears and 275 fronts both stick out well past the arch. I put up with it for a couple of months but my OCD side cannot put up with the look. Ordered painted OEM flares off the Msport today which will run $1000 with all the fitting kit

Thanks, all this info helps a great deal. Curious, wouldn't you have either the 275/315 or 285/325 front and rear respectively (difference between the X5 and X5M respectively, for 20 inch wheels)? Any chance you can post pictures of your setup from a couple of different angles?
Thanks!

I bought the flares when I upgraded to the 20" setup. Had them painted to match color and installed at the dealer. Offers a better look , in my opinion.

If his goal is to have his X5 "not look too bad" then mission accomplished.

Maybe those who aren't familiar with the X5 wouldn't notice, but those who are will definitely notice.

It doesn't look too bad but it doesn't look great. You really need 20" and up to make it look beefy.

just buy them online or from the dealer, and have any bodyshop paint them. shouldnt cost much to just paint.

As far as I'm aware of, nobody sells them painted.

I think it wouldn't look so bad unpainted. Would just a different kind of look.

Yes! I think I'm the only Laotian here

As for the price, when I picked the 30d up in December 2014, I paid about $135K But since then the price has gone up due to new taxation law.

I recently inquired about another F15 30d with all the MPerf parts and my SA said $180K

The prices we get here are ridiculous, but there's no other choice

Damned... what kinda tax law u guys are having there? And i thought we Malaysian are worse enough. But even then, ur pre-new tax price is still more exp than us.

Heard recently ur govt cabinet is auctioning their luxury rides? Not bad. Unlike ours, rip us off as many as they can.

Parts needed for painted flares are 51777378581, 51777378582, 51777378583, 51777378584 plus a bunch of plastic rivets. I found the flares cheapest at ecs tuning and the hardware at my local dealer.
Do you have picture of this setup? I'm trying to upgrade my base plastic fenders to flared ones. But I just want to make sure this numbers parts can fit my 2014 x5 xdrive35i.

Confirm on real OEM.com using your VIN.

There are only 4 possible options with the variables being flared or straight and painted or textured black.
