dubsesd Looking good.

Just a note on the spring, yes Eibach is cheaper, but since it is not available from Eibach NA yet, they won't be any warranty.
Also yes, the ACS is made by Eibach, but most likely the spring rate is different, have to test it side by side to confirm that. And since ACS has office in the US, there will be a warranty on the product.

I bought them from a vendor here and I'm not too worried about warranty on 350 dollar springs and links. The vendor would most likely warranty anything since they are in Europe. This is just an alternative suspension setup to H&R that has a lesser drop and rides significantly better. The AC Setup is probably equally good, but my curiosity took the best of me lol

OEM is not progressive so it's not just the length of the spring. Progressive springs are hard on shocks because they have hellacious rebound when they are compressed and then all that energy is released - this is what's progressive. When replacing with progressive springs, it's best to replace the shocks too. But at your mileage, there shouldn't be any difference. Good shocks start loosing their effectiveness around 50-60,000 miles, and slowly get worse.

I spoke to ACS today and they gave me a special price over the phone. I don't care who makes the springs as long as they are designed for the car and come with a warranty. No Chinese springs though.... I am considering their springs since I was told they are not progressive. I want to install myself - does anyone have access to installation manuals?

Edit
Oops - never mind. ACS supplies installation instructions with their spring kit. Very nice....

^^^ Install on mine took about 4 hours start to finish, wasn't bad at all. I've got the rear links down as far as they'll go.

My links are almost all the way up. I put them 1/4" down from where they were preset and the rear was slammed.

car sits at 31.15" from ground to fender on oem 20" wheels. in the pics i test fit the 22" wheels to see how they look. very happy with the results
Dubsesd do you have the eibach part number ? and the seller information ? I think the H&R is too agressive and the ACs are too expensive.. is the front supension the same for the 35xdrive and the 35sdrive ?

Hi guys.

I ordered Eibach springs from Baan Velgen. I received two springs for front and nothing else. I have 3.0d M sport package. Should I got any other pieces for rear end?

Thanks

If its a complete kit, there should be links for the rear that work with the air ride. They look like this:

Thanks for your reply.

I did order the kit and received just two springs.

Dubsesd did you receive links from Baan Velgen?
