Tomorrow the new shoes go on

Well after a 5 week delay my XO Milan wheels finally are here. Long story short, they are now powder coated due to the machine shop scratching them during the boring process. So I will be posting pics tomorrow.

Can't wait to see them mounted! What are the specs you went with for the wheels and tires?

I am still 2-3 weeks out for my wheels to arrive. The wait is killing me.

How are the roads in Hawaii? Tires look thin!

Looks hot but makes me more nervous going with 22"s in NY!

What are the offsets of the wheels? The rear fitment looks on point and very aggressive.

The roads here are good. I had a thinner setup with my 5 series a few years ago and had no problems.

I've heard New York roads are treacherous! I left the +30 mm spacers in the back. Offsets are +20 in the back and +42 in the front.

How come you didn't go with 10.5, 12, width front and rear? 9 is a little thin for X5

Probably lower offsets and cheaper tires if he's putting on the miles.

pdawg , looks good. Split spoke will go well with the dual slat.
cy07 , kkakonn is right. They don't have the width that we all crave for.
Taran.J , I wonder how far he can go in the island.

Yeah, once you start venturing into the land of 11+" wide rims, the costs jumps dramatically. I promised wifey I'd keep it reasonable.

Ben, it's not how far, it's how fast this island is the only one big enough to justify having a car that can scoot

Great pics btw
