2015 X5 5.0i - Drivetrain Malfunction - Misfires in Cyl 6 & 8

I was driving down the highway just cruising the other day and all of the sudden it started shaking. I got home a couple minutes later and scanned it with ISTA.

Misfire cyl 6 & 8
Damaging exhaust gases

I changed the spark plugs and ignition coils but still getting the same error. Given that I swapped all 8 plugs and coils, and the error still resides on 6 & 8, I can’t imagine that switching coils or plugs would change anything.

From my reading on here it sounds like injectors is the next thing to looks at. If I had a bad MAF, I would think the whole bank would be misfiring.

Can someone share a link to some instructions or a video on how to run the injector and hpfp tests in ISTA?

I’m about 4k miles over the extended warranty. 124k miles. But since I bought it at the dealership I’m hoping they would goodwill the injector replacement. I would just like to confirm it’s a warranties part before limping the thing down to the dealership.

I think it’s covered by warranty so I dropped her off today. If it’s not, I’ll be replacing injectors myself

I also should mention I have an auxiliary coolant pump short circuit error as well. It’s a little plastic coolant pump for the turbo I believe.
