Thanks for the compliments guys!

This is my first M and I'm in love. Plus, driving from Seattle to LA was a great/fun way to take care of the break-in process and have a romantic road trip with the wife.

I will do a proper photoshoot soon, but for now, here are a few more. Enjoy!

Hi there,
I finally was able to fit a proper de-winter wash and shine over the course of 2 weeks! Pressure-washed, foamed, and carefully cleaned every panel using two-bucket method (2BM), and used blow-dry method to dry

It is Black Sapphire Metallic, 2 year old X5, with
GTechniq C1 (single coat)
GTechniq EXO V2 (2 coats)

Paint correction performed using Menzernal FG400, then SF4500 to finish.

iND just led me to this...I'm planning to put the gloss black surround on with this since this one is matte.

Now that grill looks badass! *Sigh* now I'm thinking about changing out my recent all black grill for this double one...

Oh, note though. Those are not the exact same design as the X5M / X6M. Those were designed based on the M3/M4/M5/M6 double slat. So the curve might not be the same.

It looks close enough and I like the idea of having gloss edges and matte double slats which is the exact look I have right now so I'll stick with that. When do they plan to come out with the gloss versions? Maybe I should wait.... ask them for me?

Congrats,

You live in LA and ordered the car from Seattle? I thought you've more competition in LA.

I think this was a forum member's car that he didn't take after ordering.

Tell me how, it is a plastic slate on top of the night vision. Only way I think would be to replace with a M logo only or cut the X5 M away.

Honestly, with a M X5 50d badge in the back, I dont think anyone thinks its a X5M only, you would rally have to know your cars to understand the front badge is wrong....

I honestly think it is fine to have the X5M badge on the grill since it is a M50d.
No harm done here

I agree too. It does have a ///M badge on the back. Or a possible idea would to actually swap the positions of the badges up front to match the positioning in the back.
